sallym786
my bid of 125$ (used the better bidding link for PRICELINE) for a 4* in MTE + MTW from 4/25-4/26 landed me at the sheraton ny, but is this a good price, could i have gotten better? i am also in need of a place closeby (preferably MTE if not then MTW) for 4/24-4/25 any ideas? hotwire looks like everything is much too expensive for that saturday but i'll take any advice possible. do you think i could get the sheraton for 125$ for the saturday too or a 4* for 125$ if not i prefer to go with a 3.5 star...again in MTE if not then MTW. thank you Link to comment

AaronJB
Possibly a few dollars better, possibly not. Overall, this is an outstanding deal for NYC for these dates. Link to comment
butterrfly
Hi Sally,I think it's a great rate - I'm also travelling to NYC on those dates, searching the same area, and I think $125 is definitely more than acceptable. I've been at it for 2 weeks now, so I may not be an expert but it's just my opinion. The other travel sites are listing 3* hotels for at $145, so congrats! :) Link to comment
thereuare
There is no way to know of a lower bid would have been accepted or not, but a 4* hotel in midtown Manhattan for $125 is a great deal and probably a fraction of a conventionally booked room for this nite. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
