Ottis
To any BB member who would be so kind to answer, I have tried to search the forum for an answer to the fallowing question but have had no luck. I am sure the answer is here somewhere but am running out of time to find the answer. The question is; Does Priceline add their fee for each night of a stay? If you only bid for one night then add extra nights at that price when it is offered? Or do you only pay the fee on the one night. Another form of this question is if bidding on a multiple night stay is the fee applied to all nights or only once? Thanks to anyone who chooses to answer.Best Regards, Ottis Link to comment
yellowdog
Using the "add extra nights" option counts as a "new" bid. So new tax and fee will be added to the price.Yellowdog. Link to comment
thereuare
If you only bid for one night then add extra nights...Do note that (when offered) you can only add nites equal to or less than the number of nites you originally booked... so if you only book one single nite, you can only add one nite to your stay (not multiple nights as per the plural in your quote above)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. larry_c
The Priceline fee on the extra night (or when you do multiple bids for a consecutive stay) adds up quickly. A $45 2* bids becomes $60/night for a single night, but change to $52 when you big 4 night consecutively in one bid. Wait 24 hours to rebid vs breaking up a stay into multiple bids.lc Link to comment
