nitad
I am going to Minneapolis in the fall with 5 people in one room. The only hotel I know that accomodates that many is the Rennaisance Depot. Has anyone ever won that hotel? I don't see many 3.5* hotel wins here (at least on the first few pages). Is it a nice hotel and is the location good? The only other one on your list is the Millenium which would not work for us. Any help would be appreciated. Link to comment
AaronJB
PRICELINE doesn't guarantee 2 beds, and there's no way to guarantee a particular hotel. I'd recommend HOTWIRE, as at least with that you can indicate how many in the room and get bedding for the amount you have in your party. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links. thereuare
Depending upon the hotel direct cost of the Renaissance, you may also want to see if it would be cheaper/comprable booking 2 rooms thru PRICELINE / HOTWIRE Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
nupdcop
I've stayed at the Depot once and found that it was a very nice place. There was no free parking when I was there - something like $12 for the day but it's better than having your car towed and impounded in the Twin Cities. Easy walking distance to things. I did win it through PRICELINE in 2002 for $40.00 a night - and that was on a summer weekend. I'm sure that prices have gone way up from those days. Link to comment
nitad
Thank you for all your replies. They are helpful. I had considered the two room PRICELINE bid and am going to check out the hotel options and consider that. I will also check out the HOTWIRE suggestion. Thanks again. Link to comment
