bethyld
Thank you in advance for your help :) I have had past success booking 1 room for 2 nights max on PRICELINE but never for longer stays. We are looking to book 2 rooms for 4 nights each - both rooms for the same dates.Am I at a disadvantage when bidding on PRICELINE due to the longer stay and number or rooms or at an advantage? I have checked the calendar of wins and there are few wins posted for these dates. What would be a reasonable bid for this time frame? Thanks! Link to comment
bethyld
Quick update:$60 Bid REJECTED Will try again in 24 hours unless anyone has any great advice or info on why rates may be higher for those dates. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Washington DC is a hotel market largely driven by policitical events and conventions. At times when there are neither rates are low... during any government meetings, rallys, or conventions, rates can spike dramatically.Based upon current rates i'm doubtful $60 is close to what it is going to take for these dates... what is the best available rate you're able to find thru conventional booking methods for these dates? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. bethyld
Thanks Aaron! I called the hotel and they were happy to guarantee double beds for both rooms and they put in a request for connecting rooms. From the reviews I've read on other sites, the hotel, while in a quiet location, is fantastic to stay at.Thanks again for the help from all :-)-Bethany Link to comment
