pnk
Using the PRICELINE link provided, I have been trying to get a room for a month now.Opted for a 2*, instead of continuing to bid for 3*.First bid, $56, region Ledyard (Mashantucket). Second bid of $63 and adding Groton region, and this was accepted. I think, I did not have to raise my bid after adding Groton, but still a bit of a newbie at this. I am happy nevertheless, since it is going to be a one-night stay, and for $63 plus taxes still beats the on-line rate of $119 plus taxes. Thank you as always! :-) Link to comment

thereuare
Thanks for the post.I've edited your topic title to reflect that this property is in the Groton zone, can you please add a reply to this thread confirming that this is correct? You can check by looking at your PRICELINE winning bid confirmation page and looking at the line under the hotel name but above the address. Also, you're correct that you didn't need to raise your bid when adding Groton to your previously failed Ledyard (Mashantucket) bid. However, all is well that ends well, and glad to see you're happy with the results.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
