puckhog
I'm bidding on 2.5* hotel at Buffalo Airport prior to trip to NYC, which will likely end up being the Days Hotel, and that is fine for me. Others have won it for $35 recently and that is where I startedFirst bid came back with a counter of $9 more and I declined. On successive nights I bid $1 more and each time the counter offer ended up being $1 more . I.E. $36 bid came up with $10 counter, $37 bid came up with a $11 counter and $38 came up with a $12 counter Tonight I went back to $35 and the counter went back to $9. Whats up with that? I know I can probably get this for $44 but its fun playing it out Link to comment
thereuare
As you know the counter-offers are not giving you the absoluate lowest price, so whatever algorithm is giving you the same counter-offer depending upon the bid point you're submitting. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
