Anne Dovel Posted January 30, 2009 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 Sounds like the same hotel I am looking at for 3/11/09 but for $69 a night.I have never used hotwire before. How is it possible to book a room at a hotel where the rates are 3 times that much?We have 5 nights to book...and $69 would be so much better than $189.Our meeting is at the Universal Sheraton. Does anyone know how many other 3.5 star hotels there are in the vicinity?And coming from the midwest, I don't have a clue how large an area the Glendale, Burbank, Universal City area is.Another question. Is it common...I'm very new to this kind of booking...for the price to go up and down within minutes? Just curious!
