Fokus17
I am trying to book a trip for my Mom and 9 friends. I searched Hotwire and found what seems like a great deal. The Dates are Checkin on May 23 and check out May 25. 5 rooms with 2 people per room. I Found $129 per night with the following amenities. Fitness CenterRestaurantBusiness CenterHigh Speed InternetTennis NearbyFrom the looks of it this would be either the Grand Hyatt or The Barclay. Could anyone else she some light on this deal? Is it a good deal for this time? Thanks for your help Link to comment
AaronJB
This would be an absolutely excellent deal for a May stay in NYC - especially later in May. I don't think you could go wrong with either possibility. The lowest rate for these dates on the Barclay website is $255 per room/per night, so you're getting nearly half off the hotel's non-refundable rate.If you do decide to book this property, it would be greatly appreciated if you could start your purchase by using the site's HOTWIRE link (click the HOTWIRE), as doing so supports the site. Let us know how it goes and if you have any questions. Link to comment
JJ2sail
I just booked this hotel yesterday on HOTWIRE, for June 28-30. It is the Barclay. I got it for 132.00 per night. My sister booked it for 4 nights and got it for $126 per night. We used the HOTWIRE button. It seems to go up and down, so thought I would grab it. Link to comment
thereuare
JJ2sail,Since your dates are different than the OP's, can you please add your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC so that others will be are of your purchase for these particular dates, and so that your win will appear in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins.Fokus17,Searching HOTWIRE for your dates (5 rooms/10 adults) the Tripadvisor infomration shown is consistent with the Inter-Continental (and not the Grand Hyatt) so that would be our best guess for this one. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.NOTE to anyone following along... there are at least two hotels in this zone that have the amenities above, so if this amenity combination is offered on your own HOTWIRE search, it may not necessarily be the InterContinental Barclay.
