These are my guesses:

3.5* - Beachside Resort and Conference Centre

3* - Radisson Hotel

The other two hotels don't match anything on the lists on this site. Can you check and see if HOTWIRE lists the tripadvisor traveler review rating for all these hotels. If so, please list the rating, the number of reviews it is based on, and the date of the last review. This would be our next step in determining the hotel.

The Key West 2.5* for $84 has a Tripadvisor rating of 3.0 out of 5 Based on 40+ customer reviews (Last reviewed June 2008).

The Key West 2* for $73 has a Tripadvisor rating of 3.0 out of 5 Based on 60+ customer reviews (Last reviewed September 2008).

Any luck on the Key Largo (not West - in the first posting from me...) 2.5* for $86? It has a Tripadvisor rating of 4.0 out of 5 Based on 100+ customer reviews (Last reviewed August 2008).

Thank you!

Thanks for posting the tripadvisor ratings...Based on that information here is what I am guessing:

2.5* Key West - Comfort Inn

2* Key West - Days Inn Key West Inn & Lodge.

Were there any amenities associated with the Key Largo hotel? If so, please list them as well and we can try to narrow down that hotel as well.

Use this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.

- Complimentary Breakfast

- Pool(s)

The Trip Advisor Rating is 4.0 out of 5 Based on 100+ customer reviews (Last reviewed August 2008).

Any thoughts on what hotel this is?

Thanks Again!

Im worried about the fact that it Hotwire does not show more ammenities... For example parking, etc. that the Ramada does show...

So this Hotwire hotel comes to $100 and I have a room reserved at the Hilton for $106 + $12 for parking (Company discout rate). Not sure if I want to risk the bid and then have to pay for Parking anyway... In that case I would rather stay with the Hilton. Any recommendations? What would you do?

Thank you!

Not all of a hotels amenities are shown on HOTWIRE. Some hotels may show more than others, so just because it is not listed does not necessarily mean that the hotel doesn't have it.

In my opinion if I had the choice between the Ramada (supposedly) and the Hilton for only $20 more I'm probably going to choose the Hilton. But that's a decision based on what you are willing to spend and how much a higher class is worth for you. Keep in mind that the Ramada does have a solid 4 out of 5 review rating.

Free Parking is an icon only used with Condo properties... even if a hotel offers free parking, HOTWIRE will not show that icon.

With the above noted, unless the reviews of the Hilton or bad, i would stick with the known... in most sitautions i need to save more than $20 on a $100 hotel room to make an opaque purchase worthwhile.

You were Right! (Phew!) I am no longer a Hotwire virgin! =)

The Key West 3 Star Hotel for:

- 1 night Tuesday October 7, 2008

- $89 (less than the $99 i saw when I first searched at the time of my posting)

- Trip Advisor 3.0 out of 5 rating Based on 100+ customer reviews (Last reviewed September 2008)

- And all the ammenies I listed above

Was the Radisson!

I went back in and did the same search though and it looks like it (as well all the other deals listed) has gone up. I think the same listing is now $96 for the same night.

How do I change my posting title to reflect my find?

Thank you!

Hi Folks,

Just an update after returning from my trip. The Radisson in Key West is not in great condition. OK for one night if you don't really care. The carpets and worn and detaching from the wall and floor. it was very cramped in the bathroom - I could barely close the door without getting into the bathtub. And the bathtub had a big dent in it that was very unsettling when you stepped in it by accident since you could not actually see it...

Hilton in Key Largo on the other hand was excellent. $10 cheaper for me since I had a corporate discount but only $20 more if you booked it online without it (and probably less through hotwire).

Have fun in your travels...
