There is a convention with 35,000 attendees in town that weekend, and Priceline was not accepting bids up to $160.We are two sisters travelling to Chicago for the first time to celebrate a birthday so we were particular about 2 beds, the neighborhood and wanted upscale. Considering all that, we are happy to get this rate which is still a considerable discount. Very helpful to read this forum and be relatively sure the hotel was either Hyatt or Swissotel.
