thereuare
Are you intending to use this as a cheap alternative to NYC? If so will you have a car? This area isn't very convenient to get to Manhattan via mass transit... with a car it's 'do-able' but still somewhat inconvenient. If you're still interested, the above is a match for the Country Inn and Suites so that would be our best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. chewiegranolabar
Hi thereuare, thank you for your points. My friends decided that we will stay in NYC. I got a hotel for $250 (used the PRICELINE link on this site). Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win!Glad to see that you were successful. This hotel gets mixed reviews, mostly due to the notoriously small rooms... if you'd like two beds you can ask at check-in, or call the hotel in advance and put in a request, but at least be prepared for a room with only one bed and not much space for anything else. On the otherhand i had a relative stay here a year or two ago and they had a great time and received a 'normal' sized room... their only complaint was that the bar was expensive (but being a W that shouldn't come as any surprise :) )Thanks for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding. This hotel is also near Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city and makes for an inxpsensive breakfast among locals... highly recommended you give it a try one morning since you'll be in the area.Enjoy your stay. chewiegranolabar
Hi thereuare, thank you for the tips! The problem is I have 3 people to squeeze in a room... It should be ok for the girls, but I'm worried for the boys. I will try to email & call them to see if they can give us normal sized rooms, or even an extra bed.I'll bring my friends for the bagels you suggested too! Link to comment
