I could have booked a room for $250 on the hotel's website, and it would have been a bit cheaper than HOTWIRE when the taxes are added. I looked at the NY hotel list on this board and being new to this board didn't realize that I probably could have figured out that I was getting the Washington-Jefferson and not the Hilton Garden Inn from the TripAdvisor rating.
