vanillabeans
2 rooms for $326 ($367.95 including tax)Had to book at least one night before this weekend (trip from the bay area with the In-laws!). I tried bidding through Priceline to get similar deals from other posters ($112) but pricleine wasn't biting. Does anyone know if it's possible to add a date with the hotel for the hotwire/pricline rate once your at the hotel? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Nice job using all available resources. The hotel is not supposed to sell you additional rooms at the Priceline/Hotwire rate, but it occaisionally (should be read: very rarely) does happen. Essentially you need a hotel that either doesn't know the rules or is willing to break the rules.Bottom line is that i don't think it can be counted on.Please add the amenities that Hotwire associates with this hotel. You can still view them by clicking the MY ACCOUNT link on the top right corner of Hotwire homepage. Also, is this in the NORTH Lake Tahoe zone? Thanks! vanillabeans
ResortBeach AccessCasinoRestaurant(s)Pool(s)Fitness CenterBusiness CenterGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServicesIt is in North Lake Tahoe. The Hyatt is fairly easy to spot. Its the only resort in North Lake Tahoe with Beach Access. I beleive Squaw is the only other resort in North Lake Tahoe and it is nowhere near a beach (lake).Because of the whitewater thing, I may end up getting a room for in Reno for the night. I don't know about getting soaked and sitting in a car for 3.5 hours....I'll give my review of the place after this weekend. Link to comment
thereuare
Thanks for the follow-up.At one time this property didn't show the Beach Access icon, which is why we try to keep on top of the amenities each time a property is reported. The amenities can change and other hotels can be added at any time with the same or similar amenities.Looking forward to hearing the review, hope your stay is a good one.
