jay3bar
I am looking for a room after a cruise. Hotwire shows 3 Star hotel ($129)and following amenities:Near BeachSmoke Free RoomsComplimentary BreakfastFitness CenterRestaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry FacilitiesHigh-speed Internet AccessGolf NearbyTennis NearbyFrom an earlier post, this appears to be the Embassy Suites. Can you confirm this? I want to make sure it is not the Miramar hotel, which shows a lower rate on EasyClickTravel travel.com.Thanks for the help, this board is a great service! Link to comment
blindman
Welcome to Betterbidding.I've edited the post to make it easier to read. From the HOTWIRE previously reported reported wins list list it does NOT match the Embassy Suites. The ES has a Kitchenette, Casino and has access to the beachIMHO this is more likely to be the Miramar. If you choose to use HOTWIRE then please use the support link.Good luck Link to comment
jay3bar
I started bidding 3* at $120 last Saturday, have checked other websites including the major chains and found limited room availaility (probably due to other cruisers like me). Today's bid of $140 was accepted by Hotel Normandie. THought I'd post this since others were looking for similar accomodations in this bid range that date in this and the Hotwire Forum. Thanks for the guidance! Link to comment
jay3bar
Thanks for the help. I went the priceline route instead, bidding over the last 4 days. Today my bid of $140 was accepted by Hotel Normandie. I wanted to post this since others here were looking for that same date and might want to bid now. Link to comment

jay3bar
I checked the review pages and learned it is the same hotel, just no longer Park Plaza:This hotel was previously called the Park Place Normandie, but is now just Normandie. Link to comment
