lauryn1420
I am trying to follow directions posted previously for a resort on Priceline in Aruba for Jan. 12 2008 through the 19th of Jan. I bid 85 for a resort and then each day went to increments of $5.00. Today I did $100. However, there are still no hotels according to Priceline in that price range. Have recent people had better luck changing options and clicking a resort and/or 4* hotel?? Or have people held out for a resort. I see that the Marriott, Westin and the Renissance have all recently been won by people on Priceline. Did they click resort or 4 *.....any of those hotels would be just fine for me. In otherwords, I would like a hotels with a casino--- I am not sure if 4* in Aruba have casinos.Any help would be greatly appreciated..... Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! You can see all the hotels reported to the board, and the star rating associated with each (as of last report to the board), in our Priceline Hotel List.I'm not familiar with all the hotels in Aruba... do all those listed have casinos? Remember that you could always be the first to report a new hotel in this area, and there is nothing that states that a "Resort" hotel needs to have a casino. If you require a casino (vs. want a casino) HOTWIRE may be a better option since they will show you, thru the use of a casino icon, if the property offered has a casino or not.Rates at the Marriott start at $469/nite for your dates... what is your maximum bid for this stay? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
lauryn142
I am still having quite a bit of trouble using priceline to book a resort/4* hotel for the week for Jan 12-19 2008. I have increased in increments of $5.00 starting at 85.00 and finally just started bidding 150.00, 155.00, etc until I reached 175.00 and still nothing!Any idea why this could be or how I could get a 4* or above hotel?Any help greatly appreciated!! Blackdogs
Try to get the Radisson on their Best Rate Guarantee. $280.80 on Expedia. $432 at Radisson.com. It's a prepay so call ahead and see if you can get it verified. That'll drop the rate quite a bit (25%) if can't land something on Priceline. Link to comment
