thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Rates are quite high for your dates... exactly which zone(s) have you bid and what is your maximum bid for this stay?If you're willing to stretch your budget a little more than you have already bid, I did find the Affinia Dumont thru Quikbook for $270, and it is one of the top rated hotels in the city. Will this work for your needs? Please use our Quickbook link if you decide to book this.Let us know your thoughts on the above and if that doesn't work for you for some reason, let us know regarding the zones above and your maximum bid. thereuare
I can't say if you'll be disappointed with a 3*... it all depends upon your expectations and what type of hotels you're accustomed to stay in.Did you read the reviews of the Affinia Dumont above... or do you not want to push your budget any further? thereuare
Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the board. Can you clarify whether this hotel is in the MTW or UM/CPS zone so that we can add it to the Priceline Hotel List for this area.Do you recall your bidding history... we'll then be able to comment better if there was a better way to go about this win. thereuare
The reviews of this hotel are mixed... the location is great, but as with many NYC hotels, many of the rooms are very small, and guests usually expect more when paying the small forunte that NYC hotels typically cost. posters
I haven't stayed at the Wellington in 3 years, but back then it was a DUMP! The location can't be beat, but the rooms are tiny (not just small) and in need of updating. If you saw the movie "Borat" he stayed at the Wellington..... I'll be interested to hear your comments after your stay.. Link to comment
