dougiew444
I stayed at the J.W. Marriott just a few weeks ago, and loved it.However, this property is not available for a trip I have coming up next weekend, (July 5-9)I gambled one night at the Red Rock Hotel/Casino which was just down the road, and it looked beautiful. The reviews online are also tremendous.I'd like to stay there, but, I haven't seen this particular property on any of the discount travel sites. The rates I see everywhere (while not bad) are pretty much the same.Any advice about getting a deal at the Red Rock??Thanks in advance! Please post the details of your win to the board.Any advice about getting a deal at the Red Rock??You can book it HERE for $153/nite, which is about $5 per nite cheaper than the hotel's own website. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment

The hotel is tremendous, and I would recommend anyone staying there. There is a pesky resort fee, however. I know some people can't stand that.As for my last stay at the J.W. Marriott, that trip was a company function...so, basically a business trip. Its hard to compare and contrast the two places...Red Rock's Casino is far better than the J.W.'s...both are tremendous...and, are only about a 15 minute drive to the strip when traffic is light.
