mikenancy1
Neither of these two hotels appear on your list, and both have been showing up consistantly on Hotwire for the past few weeks. 2.5 star in Central Park has complimentary breakfast, Fitness, and Business Center, and 2.5 star in Midtown South shows Boutique, Restaurant, and Laundry. mikenancy1
Sorry... I'm looking at 8/3 through 8/7. Link to comment
thereuare
The MTS hotel has not yet been identified, but the CPA area hotel is a match for the Comfort Inn so that would be our best guess. What is your maximum budget? I really wouldn't recommend the average 2.5* NYC hotel. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
mikenancy1
I'd like to stay under $175. I generally agree with you about 2.5 star hotels in NY, but there's a LaQuinta and a Super 8 across the street from each other on W. 32nd Street, and they're both clean and decent. Both would rate a 2.5. So I was hoping.... Link to comment
thereuare
I've stayed in that La Quinta once (when it was a different brand) and it was the smallest room i had ever been in. How about The Pod for $133/nite (private bath room... i don't recommend the shared bath 'experience')I recently wrote the following in another post:the reviews are pretty good (get past the first three... the first may be a legitimate complaint but the next two don't apply as 1) the hotel is not managed by WooGoo (thank god!) and that user's complaint should be direct at WooGoo, and 2) i'd only suggest getting a room with a private bath) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
mikenancy1
Thanks for the tip. I've never paid attntion to The Pod because, with the shared bathroom option, I pictured a semi-converted rooming house. Link to comment
