We were not looking for just parking, but preferred to have covered parking. We are going to be gone for 16 nights and that really adds up just for parking. We can get the parking and a really nice hotel for the night before we leave for the same price that we'd normally pay for just the hotel. Thanks for the suggestions. Wendy

Sorry, I guess the other couple that's going with us on the trip, already booked our hotel and parking. Sorry for any trouble. They booked it as a package deal, but not thru Priceline or Hotwire.

Just noticed that the Intercontinental, which I believe is the 4 1/2 star ORD South, just went down by $20, maybe it'll go lower and I'll be able to do that, and park there. THanks.

I would love to have advice, I need a hotel for 1/13/10, for ONE night. I want to park at the Intercontinental from 1/13/10 to 1/29/10 but cant' quite afford the price of the room and the parking. I want to get a room on HOTWIRE that is within a short walking distance from the Intercontinental. Can you help me? Wendy

Hello, I know this has been discussed before, but wondering how much taxi would be from FLL to Miami downtown? We'll probably fly into FLL on 11/5/06, stay overnight in Miami, probably downtown, then cruise out of Miami, then go back to Fort Lauderdale and stay overnight there one night before we fly home. Any suggestions for either FLL near airport, or Miami near cruiseport? Transportation from FLL to Maimi? Thank you

My husband and I always stay at the Four Points Sheraton prior to leaving on a trip, they are great and offer a stay and fly package, or if you got a discounted rate, you can still use the airport shuttle and leave your car at the airport for $5 per night, cheapest around. Have fun....

I am willing to take a chance with priceline, and get a better price even if I don't get the exact hotel I'm looking for. From the looking around on this site it seems like I might be successful. I will not be upset if I don't get the exact hotel or resort. Do you recommend starting with a request for 2 rooms at a lower rate, then I'd be sure of the occupancy rate, or take the chance of 4 people in one room? It' for a pre -cruise with my husband, son and his girlfirend.

Hello, I'm new here and am learning so much about Hotwire and Priceline from this site. I just happened to stumble upon it this evening and am addicted. I love it......... I am looking to book either the Mriott Harbor Beach Resort or Hyatt Pier 66 for December 3. I need a room for 4 adults. Please help and give any suggestions. Should I start to bid now or wait. If I can get by with one room I'm willing to pay up to $200, if I'll need two rooms I'd prefer to stay aroung $100. Any help is appreciated...... :)
