Thanks. I checked Eldorado site and learned there was a $25 resort fee which made this price not look as good. Instead I went for the 3.5* boutique hotel for $121 (next one on list.). I got Las Polomas and am happy with this. (Only an $8 resort charge, breakfast included.) Yes, the 3 star was Aloft, and we're very happy with this purchase. The location is great for Guthrie, and it definitely rates higher than 3 star in may mind. Parking (Guthrie lot) is cheaper than downtown hotels, service is great and rooms are very nice. I would have paid $179 if I'd made this reservation at the hotel when we stayed there last week. I won this 4 star hotel for $72. Not such a good deal though since learning that the only available parking is $36 per night for very slow valet service. Reviews aren't terribly good either. 1st time I've been disappointed with HOTWIRE results.

Thank you for your help. We reserved 2 rooms at the downtown east $60 option and the hotel is Aloft just at you predicted. With tax the room is around $75 per room. This very close to Guthrie and some park areas along the Mississippi so we're very pleased, Regarding the previous request from last year for Mpls options, we reserved directly with the hotel where our meetings were taking place, rather than using Hotwire. If this happens again, I'll go through the link you suggested. I'll. Also try to remember to copy and paste the amenity list next time. This is a great service and I want to be supportive.

Using advice from admin, I requested a 3 star room for 4 and got the Aspen Suites for $97. Happy with this deal! I started at 55, then 60 and won 2 rooms at $65. I'm entering this at this thread since I started out using HOTWIRE, but I ended up getting a better deal on PRICELINE. The 2 rooms are at the 4* Radison Blu.

I think the Courtyard downtown charges for parking, while this hotel on hotwire does not. Any other ideas?

You were right. It was the Best Western Norwester. The hotel is quite a ways out of town, but otherwise, it was a fine place to stay.
