I had been trying for the past few weeks, on and off. I tried yesterday afternoon and got this on my first attempt.

Initial offer $40 - rejected, added Santa Monica bid $45 - rejected, added Bel Air/Brentwood $50 - accepted Hotel Name: Mariott Los Angeles Airport Your Offer Price: $50.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Taxes and Service Fees: $14.45 Total Charges: $64.45

I orginally submitted a bid of $45.00 but this was rejected so I added NE Denver and increased the price to $50.00 and the bid was accepted by the Marriott Denver Airport Gateway Park. I was booking three rooms, for the one night (6/23-6/24) and the totals are as follows: Subtotal: $150.00 Taxes and Fees: $28.41 Total: $178.41

Hi, I just booked a 4* hotel downtown Seattle for 7/31-8/1, I'd been reading various post and it seemed like people had been getting the 4* downtown around the same time period for between $100-$120, so I began with a bid of $105 and it was accepted immediately, and the hotel turned out to be the Westin. I am quite happy with this as it seems to have gotten favourable reviews and the location is excellent. Hi, I've been reading your site for the past week and it has been extremely informative and helpful. As a result I decided to use Priceline (for the first time) to book a hotel, and it worked out wonderfully. So well in fact that I booked another hotel downtown for the next night (details will be posted) I booked a 3* hotel at the airport for 7/30-7/31, I bid $35.00 and it was accepted immeadiately and it turned out to be the Doubletree Hotel Seattle Airport.
