  1. After all the taxes, fees, and discounts it comes out to $148 per room. Thanks for the hotel listing. It would have been impossible to convince others in my party to allow me to bid.
  2. Is there going to be a resort fee on top of my $185/night winning bid? Same question applies for my Cosmo winning bid? Thanks
  3. Finally got a win at $185. Was going to book Paris for $149.50 but the deal was gone by the time I went back. Kept trying 4* up to $150 all weekend. Ended up with Trump for $185. Looking forward to my trip.
  4. I just got denied again on 5* up to $180. My wife was looking on the website and she noticed that we can get the Paris Hotel (I assume a 4*) hotel for $149.50 a night for those two nights. What gives? Why wouldn't my bid of $150 be approved for a 4*?
  5. I just went from 120 to 150 with a 4* and no luck. Will try 5* this afternoon from 140 to 200 with wife's account. Will just keep trying to get $150 for 4* and $200 for 5* each day. Hopefully one of these days it will take.
  6. Just tried the 4 star and bid up to $120 with no luck. I was hoping to get a 4* for up to $130. I got a 5* for Wed/Thur for $115 on priceline. I bid 3 times for the areas along the strip and 4 more times for areas without 4*'s. Any recommendations for how much a 4 * should be? Do I start my bidding with $120 tomorrow? Would it be better to wait till Monday to try again for the 5*? Why can't I use summerlin for 4 *?
  7. I am willing to accept anything on the strip. So there are 3 choices there. Then I can add another 5 that do not have 4*. Why not Summerlin? I can also add 5* as a choice.
  8. Tried it two days in a row. No luck. What should I start at for 4* and which areas can I rebid with? Thanks
  9. I won on priceline for those dates at the Cosmo for $115. With Priceline you cannot choose the hotel, only the star level.
  10. Was looking for 5/16(W) to 5/20(Sun) 5* started at $100 got up to $130 with no luck and decided to break up the trip. Got the Cosmo for Wed/Thurs for $115 after starting at $100. Then I tried to extend my nights by two but it would not allow me to at $115. Then I tried getting Fri/Sat night starting at $125 and went all the way up to $180 with no luck. Any suggestions? $180 seems pretty high to me. I may just drop down to 4 star for those two nights and start at $65, does that seem reasonable?
  11. I used your advise, on the second try I got Hyatt Regency Chicago 151 E Wacker for $105 plus tax. I also clicked on your PRICELINE link. Thanks for your help.
  12. I live in the suburbs and just want to stay downtown for one night. After reading the posts, Mother's day weekend appears booked up. Just want to know what I should bid for a 4* for Sunday night. I am looking at NMA and the Loop. I already tried $75, $85, $95 to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
