Handicapped parking After multiple offers through Priceline in the Manhattan area, I felt very fortunate to find this deal on Hotwire. 15. Just wondering why my win for Memphis on 6/22 does not appear when I do a search on Priceline Calendar of Wins? Just wondering if I posted it incorrectly because I also can't find it on the Tennessee Priceline board. Thanks for your help.
  16. After several attempts of trying for 4* 3-1/2* and finally down to 3* in the Downtown area of Memphis, I landed the Crown Plaza for $62.00 per night for a total of $79.58 with taxes; which I am very happy with. 19. Through Savings Barn, I bid $69.00 on a 4 star in Downtown SLC and on my first bid, I won the Hilton City Center. I could have started with a lower bid but due to limited time and really wanting a 4 star, I'm very satisfied with the hotel and price I received on my three day weekend hotel stay 2/14 - 2/17/08. There is a $12 self parking fee per day at the Hilton.

  23. Through Priceline, I initially bid $31 on a 2-1/2 * in Amarillo but it was declined with a note saying that if I bid $9 higher in the same zone right away, it would be accepted. Rather than bidding the $9 as suggested, I added a second zone (knowing there were no 2-1/2 *) and rebid for $33. It was accepted this time for a total of $46.36 with taxes.
  24. Our stay at this Hilton was very enjoyable. The staff was very pleasant and granted our request for double beds and adjoining rooms. They provided shuttle service to the Mall of America every hour and to the airport every 1/2 hour. I believe they made exception runs when necessary. The hotel was older but on the inside where it had been redecorated in the last few years, it was very elegant and the bedding was very plush. The rooms seems to be a little on the small size but the decor made up for it. The large warm indoor pool area was very nice and didn't have the bold chlorine smell like some indoor pool areas have, which made it much more inviting. The two hot tubs didn't have many jets that worked properly so not many patrons were using them. Overall, we were very happy with our bid for $44 through Priceline for this hotel for a three night stay and would be happy with this bidding price again in the future.
