Just trying to test the waters for memorial day weekend. I bid $50 on 4* in downtown minneapolis and they accepted my bid. I am extremely happy with the deal. I am going to the Twins game that night. Would have been nice to be a little bit closer to Target Field and the Bars but I know it is a nice hotel. $78 with tax and parking.

just checking in after my stay. My wife really enjoyed our stay, great breakfast, nice pool area with hottub. Close to the mall and they gave us passes to a work out facility since they are working on their own. Great deal for $50. Thanks everyone and good luck.

I tried for a 2.5* at $55 and $60 after adding Hector for a Saturday night stay (4-9-11). I then put in 2* and dropped my bid to $50. I got the fairfield Inn which is a 2*. Haven't stayed there before but maybe should have tried for a little lower price. I will post again after my stay and let you know how it was. Thanks to all the previous posts for the advice. What a cool site.
