I agree, The hotels were both comparable and actually we will have two queens instead of two doubles going with the Wyndham over the Marriott. Thanks again for the help and once again this site is great!

In searching today there is a 4.5* in the Loop - Theater for $101 with the following amenities. Previously you said it was likely the Wyndham Grand.

Thanks for the follow up. I am able to get the Marriott Downtown for $135 with my corporate discount with the ability to choose a room type. I'm going to continue to monitor hotwire but I think it's a hard deal to pass up.

I've used this site a lot in the past so I am very familiar with the bidding strategy although for the weekend I am looking for I have some questions. So this is Halloween weekend but also if the Cubs make it to the World Series games 3-5 would be in Chicago this weekend Fri-Sun. I want to get something booked in case that perfect storm happens. Here are a couple of my issues. I am traveling with 3 people more likely 4. I have almost always used priceline and have never had an issue getting a room with 2 beds. With that being said who know what it might look like if everything falls into place. I may just take the easy way out and use hotwire and be guaranteed a room for 4 people. Also I would prefer to avoid the smaller hotels ie Hotel Felix. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated and this website is awesome.

Looking to spend Labor Day weekend in NYC. I would like to stay in Midtown or Times Square based on location. If I didn't get anything I would consider Chelsea, ESB and MSG. I am hoping to stay under $150 for a 4* but I haven't ever bid in NYC. Are some areas more likely than others?

There is a $94 3* downtown Milwauke for 8/2 - 8/5. There is free internet free parking and free breakfast. Looks like a lot of the wins lately have been the Aloft but with these amenities I am unsure.

Bid on 3 rooms first bid was 40 they countered 46. I countered with 41 and it was accepted. I was very pleased with the hotel and the location was perfect.

Went with the Mag Mile Streeterville 4*. It was the Hyatt as suspected.

I want to say the first is the Hyatt but the 95% rating doesn't seem to fit. I have no idea on the second. If the second said boutique then I think I would have an idea.
