I was definitely not expecting a pool outside of the hotel property; it was not my preference to use a public pool. I find it odd that the hotel can post this as an amenity on Hotwire? What are your thoughts on this?

Price point was in our budget, and we were looking for a hotel that offered complimentary breakfast. The location turned out perfect for our needs. I am pleased with our booking. I used Betterbidding's HOTWIRE link to book our hotel. This hotel is not on your hotel list... :)
