  1. I used the hotel list on betterbidding prior to getting this room. From the amenities listed I thought it was the Sheraton and turned out to be correct. This forum has always been very helpful.

    Subtotal: $134.85

I've been watching prices on HOTWIRE for a few weeks, and there hasn't been many changes. Also been bidding on PRICELINE, up to $90 for a 3* with no luck. From the info on this site I figured this hotel on HOTWIRE was the Radisson Fallsview. It had decent reviews, so I decided go ahead and reserve. Maybe I would have gotten a better price or 4* if I'd waited till closer to the trip, but I decided to book and be done with it.

Thanks for all the great info on this site. I used the HOTWIRE link when bidding.

  4. First bid for 3* at $44 for Greenbay - Appleton (Appleton). Bid rejected, and counter offer was given to add $15-$59.

I rebid for $50 by adding an area (Kaukauna)

    Bid accepted at:

    Holiday Inn Neenah Riverwalk

    123 East Wisconsin Avenue

    P.O. Box 795

    Neenah, Wisconsin 54957

I was surprised to receive this hotel, as I didn't notice when looking at the PRICELINE map that Neenah was included in Appleton. It's not exactly the area we wanted to be in, but I'm happy with the hotel I got and the price.

I have used this board several times and have greatly appreciated the valuable information posted. So, I decided it was time that I contribute

I used the PRICELINE link when bidding.
