  1. UPDATE! I tried Name Your Price on PRICELINE - 4.5 star Magnificent Mile for $140 and got Westin Michigan Avenue. I'm very happy with the result! Lowest rate on Westin's website is $226. Thank you for all your help!!
  2. I thought that would be Sofitel as well but this time I want a different hotel if possible. I just don't want to end up with W lakeshore, Warwick, Allerton. Thanks a lot for your help and I'll use your link and code when I pull the trigger.
  3. Thanks for your help. I'm still looking. I may even go to 4.5 star Mag Mile/Water Tower just to save some more. In the past, whenever I've done it, I usually get Sofitel which I got on Priceline last year for $85 about a year ago. Just wondering if you know of any convention going on April 27-29 weekend.
  4. 5 star hotel for Chicago Magnificent Mile/Water Tower for 4/27-4/30 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Children's activities I'm not specifically looking for Park Hyatt. I want any 5 star Michigan Avenue area hotel except Trump. I was hoping to keep it $200/night.
  5. I am looking for a 5 star hotel for Chicago Magnificent Mile/Water Tower for 4/27-4/30. I am getting a 5 star Hot Rate of $211 and it says it will be 1 of 4: Park Hyatt, Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons or Langham. I have checked this a few times recent and it always says "last hotel booked was Park Hyatt. I called Waldorf Astoria Chicago to inquire on using a free night certificate and was told that they have no standard rooms left for that weekend. Is it highly likely that this hotel is Park Hyatt?
  6. I need hotel for one night 4/21/17 to 4/22/17. I studied this board for a bit and compared with what I was seeing on Hotwire. Decided to try Name Your Price option. I first tried $125 for 5 star but got nothing. Then I added 4.5 star hotels and tried for $85. I was very happy to receive the Sofitel. Thank you again to this board. I used your PRICELINE link.
  7. thanks as always Aaron! Do you have any idea what that $114 hotel would be?
  8. Can you please help me identify this hotel? Dates are 4/27/12-4/29/12. I am trying to get either Drake, Westin on Michigan or Knickerbocker. Drake hotel is sold out on it's website. There is a 4 star showing up on Mag Mile- Water Tower- Gold Coast for $150.00. The descriptions are: Smoke Free Rooms, Restaurant(s), High Speed Internet and Business Center. There is NO POOL. Also, there are 3.5 stars on Tripadvisor, which is also what Westin on Michigan shows on the Tripadvisor site.
  9. I really appreciate your help but I decided to book directly with waldorf astoria. They were having a special for a junior king suite for $350 including breakfast for 2.
  10. I really would like the Conrad or Intercontinental. Not interested in The James. I am getting a 4.5 star for $205 for arrival on Aug 20th for 1 night. Icons are fitness center, restaurant, business center and high speed internet. Also noted is 4.5 stars out of 5 on Tripadvisor, which both Conrad and the James have. I do see that Conrad is sold out on their own website, whereas The James is not. Any idea on what this hotel is??? thanks.
  11. I am planning to come to NYC Jan. 21-23. I would ilke a 4.5 star in midtown area. The only 4.5 star property showing up on that weekend is in midtown east and I am guessing it's The Benjamin for $216. this is based off the hotel list on this board. Is it possible that more 4.5 stars will show up? I'm hoping for the Waldorf.
  12. A big big thank you to the people on this board. I used the HOTWIRE link and purchased the 4.5 star which turned out to be Intercontinental as predicted. Thanks for everything!
  13. In addition to my other thread regarding the 4.5 star in downtown Chicago, I am looking into another option of a 4 star. I am trying to strategize how to get Drake or Westin on Michigan Avenue. For April 30 - May 2nd, there is a 4 star with amenities: Fitness Restaurant, Business & Highspeed Internet. 4 out of 5 on tripadvisor. Recommended by 70% of reviews. Could this be Westin or Allerton? What tips could I look for to get the Drake? Thanks.
  14. Oh man, I went to purchase and it's gone. Now there is a 4.5 star for $104 with a 4 out of 5 rating. That means intercontinental? Any chance the other 2 might come back?
  15. Believe it or not - I got Hyatt Regency O'hare for $40 on PRICELINE!! Thanks!!!
  16. Planning April 30 - may 2nd trip to Chicago Mag Mile. I really want Conrad or James. I am getting a rate of $129 for 4.5 star. Amenities are Exercise, Restaurant, business center & internet access. States 95% recommended rate with over 500+ reviews. Checked tripadvisor and only Intercontinental has 500+ reviews but 78% recommended. That's what confuses me from thinking it's the Intercontinental. Please help. Thanks!
  17. I'm trying to get Hyatt Regency O'hare for July 17-19th. There is a 4 star hotel under O'Hare North showing amenities: shuttle, fitness, pool, restaurant, internet and golf for $72/night. No tripadvisor rating so i can't check to compare. Best Value is also listed. thanks.
