Plane tickets are already bought so I'm going with those dates. Got the Ritz Carlton credit card and a Marriott card recently. I'm trying to build up the points needed. Hotel prices are too high but I do understand it's high season. I'll keep trying Priceline and who knows, may get lucky.
Arrive: Feb. 18, 2015 Depart: Feb. 25, 2015 I'd love to spend under $200 a night and stay at the Westin or the Marriott. Those seem to be the 2 hotels that have come up in the past. Thanks!
I'm looking at dates in February 2015 (probably too soon). That's during the high season. My bids got up as high as $230 a night and then I backed off. Probably just have to wait a couple more months but the 3 star has me curious. Thanks!
I've been bidding for months with no success (4-star deluxe). Two hotels show up under that category and I went to check today and the "best deal" icon is now next to 3-Star Upscale. I don't know what hotel that could be. Did one of the 4 star hotels drop to a 3 star? If anyone can shed some light on it I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Three nights (Jan. 29 and leave on Feb.1). I went up to $140 and was not accepted. I've won bids in this area in years past ranging from $110-$120. It's probably too soon for the hotels to release their inventory. The Westin has been the only 3.5 star hotel. The 4 star is a mystery to me. Thanks.
I've noticed a selection on Priceline (the 10th check box) for "Mount Charleston - Indian Springs." Looking for a list of accomodations for this zone. I doubt they have 5 star hotels but just looking to see if this is a potential free re-bid zone. Thanks.

I've been bidding for over a month for a 4 star in this area with no luck. I'm looking for a room during the Fourth of July weekend. I understand that there may not be any rooms available during that time on Priceline but I'm curious if anyone has had success during that time and just hasn't posted. They may not release their rooms until the last minute. The highest I've gone, with bonus cash, was $110 a night (three nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Thanks.
Thanks for this information in this priceline winning bid thread. I used the PRICELINE link in that thread and just got 2 nights at the Aruba Marriott for $85 a night (April 15 and 16 - $196.68 total with taxes). I had been selecting 4 stars and bid up to $130 a night with no success. I selected resorts and $85 a night and it was a winner.
