After many unsuccessful attempts at much lower rates, I finally won this great hotel for $150 a night. For some reason, hotels on Sept 10th are very expensive - almost 50% more than the weekend rates, which is odd. After hours of searching for a good deal on sites like Expedia, I tried Priceline one more time and got this hotel. Interestingly enough, when I bid for longer stays, I tend to find hotels easier than when it's just a couple days. Last time I stayed here with Priceline, I got upgraded to a mountain view suite so here's to that happening again!
