Still monitoring the downtown Milwaukee hotels on Hotwire. The 4* I saw previously disappeared for a while but something similar came up today. Just posted a new topic-the amenities seem the same and it might be the same suggestions as before (Intercontinental or Iron Horse) but thought I'd check back just in case. Thanks.

I'm prepared to take a cab or public transit to the baseball game, but otherwise want to be near Summerfest. The Intercontinental would be great. Perhaps if emandjh bids on this, he'll post the results. Thanks for your help.
Yes, it does say free internet as well as hi-speed internet. The last poster's comments are giving me pause. We are only there for 2 days, mainly to see a Brewers game and check out Summerfest. With no car (we're flying to Chicago to spend a few days and then taking Amtrak to Milwaukee), I don't want to be too far from the main downtown area.

Hi-First time posting on Betterbidding. I'm trying to identify this 3* hotel in downtown Chicago-West Loop area. Dates are June 30-July 2. Price is $116/night. 95% on Hotwire recommend. Amenities: Comp breakfast, free internet, fitness ctr, pool, business ctr, laundry I'm travelling with my teenage daughter but put in "2 adults, 1 child" because 2 years ago, I used Hotwire for a Chicago trip, listed two people and ended up with a "petite" room with one double bed at Affinia (was able to upgrade to a junior suite but not until I arrived). I think this may be La Quinta because of the laundry amenity but not sure. Thanks!
(Hope I'm doing this right) Hi-my boyfriend and I are spending next weekend in NYC-want to stay near TS, MYC, Chelsea or MTE(only firm plan is to see a Bway show). I am eligible for govt rate ($192), AAA (slightly higher) but think I can do better with Hotwire or Priceline (also have Entertainment Book coupon).
