  1. Got this hotel for tonight. Looks like about $10 cheaper tha PRICELINE EXPRESS deal. I used the link on this website to book! :-) Of course taxes and fees bump the out of pocket up by about 20% to $98. But that is unfortunately unavoidable. Just FYI - I started my bids at about $45 and bumped it $5 each bid as I was trying to get the cheapest 4* available. I was okay with any 4* hotel in zones 1,2,3 and 13 so I added all of those first. Then I started adding zones with no 4* hotels. This one hit @ $80.
  2. First off -- I did use the Priceline link from this site. :D I started bid at $40. I wanted to stay downtown. Specifically I wanted to get the Hyatt Regency. I was able to get it a couple times before around Thanskgiving for around $45 per night. I got the room for $50. I needed two beds so I called the hotel directly right after I won and they were able to give me a room with two queen beds. Very pleased. My rebid plan is below. Downtown $40.00- INITIAL BID Broken Arrow $45.00 - (no 3.5 stars in this zone) Central Tulsa $50.00 - (no 3.5 stars in this zone) THIS DID IT. STOPPED HERE AS $50 WAS ACCEPTED. Owasso $55.00 - (no 3.5 stars in this zone) Sand Springs $60.00 - (no 3.5 stars in this zone) Airport $65.00 - (no 3.5 stars in this zone) EAST - catoosa $70.00 - (no 3.5 stars in this zone) Bixby $75.00 - (no 3.5 stars in this zone) I left the following zones out of my rebid plan since they both had 3.5 star hotels in them and I only wanted to stay downtown. Southern Hills Woodland Hills
  3. 3* Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown. Started bid at $35 and right off the bat it told me it found a hotel willing to take $44 if I would bid that. However I did not take that offer and decided to bid $40. It accepted $40. I called the hotel and requested two beds and they said no problem. Self Parking $8 and Valet Parking $15. My backup plan was to stay Holiday Inn Express which I had booked online last week at their rack rate (around $95 a night). My total cost for that stay would have been $323. Now my total cost for Hyatt Regency is $127. Very Happy. I used the Betterbidding link to PRICELINE! I love this site!
  4. Based on information provided on this board I bid $43 and it hit on the first try (for two rooms). Very pleased with this property. I used the PRICELINE link from this site. I have used this site for a couple of years and it has saved me a lot of money. I thought I was time I started participating. Sorry it took so long.
