  3. Looks like Wynn to me. It would be a great price if it is true
  4. Since casino is one of the amenity, you can safely rule out Trump (They don't have a casino). It looks like the hotel is Wynn based on the list of Amenities.
  5. Good for you. I managed to get a room one week earlier (May 17 to May 21) for the same price about a month ago. However, I wasn't able to get that price for another room now
  6. Is Venetian always has 'Suite' in the amenity list?
  7. Here is the replay I got from my inquiry about the situation Thank you for contacting us regarding your hotel reservation for the Wynn Las Vegas,Hotwire Itinerary Number 6754826788. I understand you are inquiring why some customers have been moved from the Wynn Las Vegas hotel, to the Trump Condos and what type of compensation do we have in place. I will be happy to provide you with that information. The customers at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel were affected by overbooking due to Valentines Day reservations. As for your reservation, we do not foresee any problems with overbooking since it is in May. If overbooking becomes a concern in May, then we will compensate you in the following way: Keep your reservation, and accept 50% of you entire stay in HotDollars,or have your reservation refunded in full, along with 50 HotDollars with our apologies. Our goal is to provide exceptional customers service while delivering great rates. If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to reply to this email or contact us directly at 1-866-HOTWIRE (468-9473). Thank you again for choosing Hotwire.
  8. I got the following reply from Hotwire customer service in email. Keep in mind that my reservation is actually around May. The only reason I sent them an email is to inquire about the situation. The section worth notice is the compensation policy: 1) Take the relocation, along with 50% refund in Hotdollar 2) Full refund + $50 hot dollar Don't know whether the compensation is date sensitive. However, hope it help <Email Detail> Thank you for contacting us regarding your hotel reservation for the Wynn Las Vegas,Hotwire Itinerary Number ##########. 9. When I made my reservation a month ago, I am able to get a room in Wynn from May 17 to May 21 for $109 a night. Now another couple would like to join us on the trip and I am surprised to find that the price moved up from $109 to $209 for the same period. What a difference a month made. I may need to book my friends another hotel
  10. Happen to me once for my trip to San Fransisco. I booked the Mark Hopkins (prepaid). Our plane was delayed and we did not arrived until 10:00 p.m. at night. The night manager at the front desk told us the hotel was fully booked and sent us to a crappy Motel. We ended up taking a taxi back to the propery and sat at the lobby until they gave us a room. My point is that the hotel can be overbooked; but the first group of people supposed to get bump are those who makes reservation without pre-paying. The only situation you can have such a massive overbooking pre-paid customers are that they are having software problems on their reservation system and they kept on salling inventories that do not exist.
  11. Congraduation. I paid $109 for the exact same date for Wynn. Nice work
  12. I got the same answer with my reservation. All we can do is try our luck during check in.
  13. Just booked Wynn for $109 between May 17 to May 21. Great price for a great hotel
  14. Have tried for a week now to try to get a hotel in New York mid town for under $200. Yesterday I still got nothing for $180 even for a split stay (tried Tuesday, Wed. Thu split). I tried the following today $170 for MTE not successful $175 and added MTW not successful $180 and added MTS success.... :)
  15. My absolute maximum is $200/ night My only requirement is that I would like to stay close to Times Sq and 5th Ave
  16. I tried the following with no success: 1) with zone MTE, MTS, MTW and UMT 2) Bid up to $170 3) Split stay on Wed and Thursday Any other suggestion?
  17. Yes, spliting is an option (but not more than one split). Any idea on what would be the best day to split off the stay (mid week? weekend?)
  18. I would like to stay in mid-town; I started with 130 Mid-town east; then adding Mid-town south and tried $140; then added Mid town west for $160. and I planned to try again tomorrow
  19. I am going to New York with my wife for a week (July 15 to July 22). Last year I got Grand Haytt for $160 but that was rejected this time. Any idea what is the avg. price I should bid for a 4* Hotel around mid town?
  20. Forget to mention. It is a 4-star hotel
  21. Date: July 9th to July 12th Hotel: Grand Hyatt New York (4*) Location: Midtown East Accepted bid: $160 Good luck. My friends
