Sorry about that. I did put the dates in the title, but not sure why it did not show up. I noticed it as soon as I posted it as well. Anyway, the dates were 10/08/11-10/10/11. Also, title says Hyatt Dulles, but specifically it was Hyatt Regency Reston.

Bid 45,48,51 and finally 54 was accepted. Looks like a nice deal to me.

Right, I have used that strategy in the past and has worked fine, but there were no other zones available in the area without 3* hotels. But since I had time, it worked out. Thanks for the advice.

Bidding 40, 45, 50, 53, 55, 57 and finally $58 was accepted. Bid once every 24hrs because I didn't want to change zones or star levels.
