I'm a seasoned traveller...but totally new to the Hotwire/Priceline way of travel! It appears I can save quite a bit of money ~ Let's face it, many of the regular rates are just silly compared to the lack of updates that hotels have had in recent years with the economic conditions. I've been checking and figuring out some of the hotels offered, but have hit a roadblock for San Juan, Puerto Rico area in identifying. I've looked for my dates 2/28-3/5 thru the link on this site (Hotwire), and of course, the price has gone up $19/night since I checked earlier. Here are ALL the amenities listed (yes, I did click the link to see all of them :) 3 1/2 stars Beachfront Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant Business Center Tennis Nearby Spa Services Was $119, now $138 plus 15% resort fee Hilton Caribe possibly? I have two places that I really prefer & have seen on the Wins Board, but haven't come up as option for me yet! Thanks for your help!
