  1. Just rechecked again and found another Tampa east Brandon 2.5 hotel for 6/23-25 for $47 so I grabbed it and it turned out to be Hampton Inn and Suites Tampa East and in looking at the reviews on trip advisor, I am very pleased. The amenities are fitness, pool, high speed internet, free parking, free breakfast, free internet, and in-room accessibility and it had 100% hotwire recommended. Hope this info helps others out.
  2. ok, I'm going to need a hotel definitely, however the original hotel I listed is gone so here is the next best option that I'm hoping for some help to identify. Just like the first hotel, this one is also 2.5* in Tampa East Brandon for 6/23-25 however is is listed at $52/night and has the following amenities: Fitness center, pool, high speed internet, free parking, free internet, free breakfast, and in-room accessibility. It is recommended by 95% of hotwire users so I'm leaning in that direction, but if you have any idea what hotel it may be, that will give me a better feel for it. I appreciate the help. Thanks.
  3. I'll keep that in mind, just waiting on my friend before I commit. In the mean time, I'll click on your HOTWIRE link for my searchs. Thanks.
  4. Might be going to Tampa that wknd so any help is greatly appreciated. The listed amenities are pool, free parking, and free breakfast. Thanks.
  5. I ended up taking a chance on the 2.5* and it turned out to be the Baymont Inn which works fine for me as I was there last time and it went pretty well. Please add the new set of amenities listing they have to make searches easier for other members. Thanks for your help.
  6. Just added that win thread on the board (meant to say it was in June, not May, had a long day yesterday). Anyways as for my tampa plans, they are firm as long as I can get a good price as I'm on a budget and need to stay in the neighborhood of $40-45/night (and a comp breakfast cuts the costs down). I agree that I am a bit hesitant about staying at a place with 65% recommendation but it's only from 7 reviews. I was hoping that if you guys had any ideas of what hotel it might be, I could then use that info to check on trip adviser cuz they usually have more reviews than 7 and I can make a better decision on if it is worth it. Also in relooking at hotwire again (using your link), there is another hotel there also which might work. It's also $43/night and it's 2*. Amenities: Complementary breakfast Pool High speed internet This hotel however is not showing up on the pinned list either. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  7. Had forgotten to mention this in the past. Hope it helps others out Amenities: suite Comp breakfast pool restaurant business center laundry high speed internet golf nearby
  8. I already did the search via your site and for the 2.5 stars, it had the following amenities: Complimentary Breakfast Pool Laundry High-Speed Internet I already checked the pinned hotel list and nothing there fits the description so I was hoping someone here might have an idea. Also just as a bit of info from a past Hotwire purchase back in May, I had ended up getting a deal on Hotwire for Tampa Busch Gardens location at Baymont Inn Tampa which is 2.5* and has amenities of suite, comp breakfast, pool, restaurant, business center, laundry, high speed internet, and golf nearby. Hope that info helps you to add to the pinned hotel list.
  9. This thread can be closed b/c I'm going to stay with my friend at a disney hotel. Thanks for the help though. I do have another question about a different hotel in Tampa, but I'll make a new thread instead for that one.
  10. That's ok. My friend who is a disney annual passholder offered to double up with me for a disney resort cuz she gets really good discounts (which works for me b/c my plan was to attend the Epcot Food and Wine festival that wknd). My only question though is if there is a way to potentially guess what the hotel might be despite not having it on the pinned list. I only ask b/c really the only reason why I post asking for help on a hotwire search is b/c it wasn't on the list but I thought maybe someone had another way of guestimating it.
  11. ok, I closed out that other thread. wasn't aware that I had to do that considering the dates for that old thread was for june and we're currently in august, but anyways as I asked before, any help in id'ing that entry would be greatly appreciated.
  12. ended up going to NY for a wedding instead so no need for this thread anymore.
  13. Amenities: Comp Breakfast Fitness room Pool Business center Laundry High speed internet Thanks.
  14. Trying to get a good place for a wknd for my GF's b-day. All help is appreciated. Thanks. Amenites: Comp Breakfast Fitness Pool Business Laundry High Speed Internet Golf Nearby
  15. Amenities Smoke Free Rooms Complimentary Breakfast Pool(s) Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby I used the HOTWIRE link also. Hope this info helps others.
  16. Howard Johnson Maingate East Condo This hotel is on the list, but now has these amenities: Studio Daily Housekeeping Air-Conditioning Pool(s) Business Center 24-hour Front Desk Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Kitchenette
  17. I'd recommend checking this link on the pinned List of Hotwire Hotels. That being said, from looking at that list plus double checking on Hotels.com (which I like to compare so I can see just how good a deal I can get with hotwire) it sounds to me like the hotel you've got is the Country Inn & Suites as it matches all of the amenities on your list (except stating suite, but if the hotel has it in the name, that might as well count). I know the list shows it as a 3 star, but Hotels.com has it as a 2.5 star so that might be where the difference is. That would be my best guess. Good luck regardless.
