We received an email today from Hotwire that this is no longer an Intercontinental property. I called customer service to see if we could re-bid, due to the fact that isnt the original brand we thought. They refused.
We are not happy with Hotwire right now.

Price was $108, hoping for Fairmont, but got the Intercontinental Montelucia. Still a good buy.

I see the reads were merged. The bid of $80 that was unsuccessful was on priceline. The $110 was a purchase made through hotwire. Just want to clarify.

Things may be the same, however, we would be upset if we stay at the resort and it doesn't adhere to the standards held by Inter-Continental.
We will have to see what happens, but wouldn't you be suspect if a major 5 star brand like Inter-Continental dropped their name off the resort?
I did notice they raised the daily resort fee. I will call to see if it covers the same things.
