Started with these areas: Charlotte South Park, Downtown Charlotte, Executive Park Airport South, Carowinds North Arrowood. When I added the Airport area and increased bid, this is the win I got. Lots of weekend trips to Charlotte for us. Very thankful for this board to help save us a great deal of $$!!

I'm SO sorry....my mistake....so much bidding that I lost track. It is the Fort Mill/Carowinds area. It was the Clarion Hotel at Carowinds, 3695 Foothills Way Fort Mill, SC.

Not the greatest hotel according to my hubby who stayed, but a good deal for $47.

I was tinkering with the bidding on this for a few days, starting at $75 and moving up to the winning bid of $100. Thank you, betterbidding.com, for helping me with my successful bid.

This was only 30 minutes from downtown Charlotte. It was a nice hotel...clean and in a safe area.

Thanks. Yes...I used the "extend your stay" feature, and it said no rooms are available. I tried to add additional for the regular priceline price, but it says there are no rooms available. I will continue to check each day to see if any additional rooms become available. Upon calling the hotel, I found out that there are no rooms available for that night :(. Maybe some people will cancel as the time comes closer. Rolling the dice.

Unfortunately, this kinda backfired on me, since i need to stay 2 nights. I thought I would be able to extend one day, but there is not availability on that Friday night :(. Oh well...I will have to be creative. Open to any suggestions!

New to this forum, and trying to find somewhere in the Glendale/Phoenix/Scottsdale area for 3/10-3/14...going to White Sox Spring Training at Camelback Ranch in Glendale. I have had success locally with Priceline, but have never used Hotwire. I found a 3.5* in North Scottsdale on Hotwire which lists amenities as: RESORT, FITNESS CENTER, POOL, RESTAURANT, BUSINESS CENTER, LAUNDRY, HIGH SPEED INTERNET, GOLF NEARBY Recommended by 75% of Hotwire Customers. PRICE: $102 Per night Anyone have any idea what this might be? Never been to AZ, and could use some guidance. Thanks!
