  7. got it for 165/nt - actually 2 rooms w/ the above parameters on Hotwire - InterContinental The Barclay. thanks much! p.s., I'm so sorry but I was hurrying to get the lower price & forgot to go thru your site to purchase

  9. Thanks much, I'll go from there. MTE 4* for the jul 15-thru-18 now on HOTWIRE for 165 looks good. Might even be the Hyatt. Will post the specific on another thread.
  10. Looking for about $200/nt total or less. After checking these areas on Hotwire, I'd say a 4* as they all have that rate for 4*. Question is, which area is best hotel deal? Leaning toward Midtown East. My GF is pretty much a Luddite-ette. :) I've used your board before to purchase through HOTWIRE - last was in Feb for the Marenas in Sunny Isles/Miami Beach.
  11. Got the Ok to look elsewhere, so Empire State building area, Midtown East, or maybe even Midtown Central? They're flying into Laguardia if that helps. Thanks again!
  12. Thanks much for the info, & I'll make sure she uses your link if they go thru HOTWIRE or PRICELINE. The main factor for this area for them is that they want to see a Broadway show or 2. If the midtown deals are better though, then they probably should consider that as they'll also be doing some touring.
  13. It's actually for my girlfriend & they prefer that area, though I'll take midtown into account for them. I'd checked the board for this, & funny no one else had ever inquired on it lately. Guess it's too hard to guess by the *s & amenities?
  14. ok ,sorry, did do link. price now $185 though. looks like better deal on the 3.5* in same Times Square area. prices & hotel * levels available here are really jumping around lately. :)
  15. for 1 Adult, 3 nights: Jul 15-18 for $171/nt + This Hotel features the following amenities: Smoke Free Rooms Guest rooms at this hotel are always smoke-free. 16. I ended up booking the 2* Hotel Sheldon on Hollywood Beach through your Expedia link for $120/nt + tax for an ocean-view room, after seeing it mentioned in a previous thread on here. Might cancel it for a 2.5* on Hotwire due to the renovations going on there, but probably about the best deal for an ocean-view(?) there.
  17. thanks, anyway. does the same go for a 2.5* here? :)
  18. For 1 night on 2/20/11 for 2 adults shows $81/nt Near Beach Pool(s) Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Just a short stop as getting into FLL late. Thanks much!
  19. We cross posted there. Thanks! Huh, that's weird 'cause I put "Miami Beach,FL" in Hotwire & it pops right up on top or 2nd from top. Now it's showing the same for $288 on HOTWIRE. Glad I jumped on that this AM. :) Maybe I had it locked in on my computer earlier so you couldn't see it.
  20. I pretty much had it narrowed down to the Marenas Resort (formerly Le Meridien) or the Trump, & ruled out the Trump, & it was the Marenas. I went ahead & booked it thru the HOTWIRE link on your site for the 152/nt plus tax. Funny, I called them earlier last night & they said they had no rooms, then said they had a room for 339/nt; & then I looked at their website & it offered a room for about 280/nt.
  21. Yes, comes up right on top when I put in "Miami Beach, FL" w/ 1 room, 2 adults, 0 children. "Miami Beach North - Bal Harbor - Sunny Isles area Hotel" $152/nt Thanks!
  22. Hi Aaron, Sorry, tried to edit that in. Dates: 2/20/11 - 3/1/11 Beachfront Smoke Free Rooms Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access
  23. $152, & it states "We are still gathering reviews for this property." & is this a nice enough area to get a beach hotel? I've never been to Miami Beach. Thank you!
