My was trying to get a 3.5* in the downtown. $60 downtown - not accepted $65 downtown and Georgetown - not accepted $55 downtown, Georgetown, and Capitol Hill - accepted. I would have preferred dtown (especially with a lot of people getting one of the kimptons at 3.5 in this area) or Foggybottom/Gtown area, but for $55 bucks, I will take it! Plus you can park at Union Station, which saves about $20 a night compared to parking at the hotel.

As a side note, 3* in MSG area at $166 on hotwire right now, so I am happy with the deal.

Seems like this weekend is pretty popular among travelers. Have been bidding the past few days. I was trying for some 4*s but it seems like they are running pretty high for this weekend. Today I bid $115 for a 3* in MSG area. Priceline came back and told me that if I upped it to $145, I would be good. I decided to add the Chelsea area and go with $120. I won the bid at 120 and got the MSG area that I wanted. I did have reservations for Eventi (kimpton) around there corner from this property for $192 a night, but happy I got this one for 70 dollars less a night with the same location. Eventi is a little bit nicer, but we are only in our rooms to sleep, so I am happy with the 140 I saved. First post, nice site.
