And sorry for the off-topic, but I am too not finding anything in Manhattan for Labor Day in the $150-$160 range for 4* by bidding.

I had a cancellable reservation at this very hotel for $109/night plus a possible upgrade at check-in (deal found on travel-ticker). Received this morning a $5 coupon from priceline and tried my luck. Paid $84 per night in the end for two rooms.

There have been two recent reports on the Priceline side of things for 3.5 * in Long Beach for $49 and it was the Hilton in both cases. So between Westin and Hilton, I would venture to say this would be Hilton. I am also looking for Long Beach in September, by the way.

Just came back from the trip. Kind of disappointed. This should not be a 3*. 2.5* at best. For this reason I will not use priceline to get rooms in this area because you may end up getting this "lemon".
