  1. Final update: 3.5* Coconut Waikiki Hotel, a Joie de Vivre Hotel $158/night, $20 off coupon, $546.53 in total Free Internet Near Beach Smoke Free Rooms Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower I think this should be the same as the one I asked previously, based on the rating from tripadvisor (4.5 out of 5, other 3.5* hotels in this region are no higher than 4). However, when I bid this, Hotwire did not show its percentage of recommendation (supposed to be 90%), and the amenities changed a little bit. Anyway, thanks!
  2. Final Update: 5* Strip South Area - Aria Resort and Casino 04/30/2013-05/02/2013 $113/night, $270.49 in total I've seen the price changing from 113 to 115 to 125 then 113 again... Anyhow, thanks!

  5. Thank you for you notice Yellowdog, I've just found out that the price has changed so that I'm not sure whether the unknown hotel has changed as well. I also found out that using different computers and web browers can have different prices! I don't know what happened, will update the info when I got back home using my laptop same as yesterday.
  6. Questions answered. For the 4* hotel during the same dates, it has the following info: Price: $63 Zone: The Strip -North Area Hotel Recommended: 70% Amenties: Free Parking Pet friendly Casino Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  7. It's from HOTWIRE. Star rating: 3* Zone: New York City - Midtown Central Amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) High-Speed Internet Access
  8. Rate per night: $87.00 Nights: 3 Number of adults: 3 Rooms: 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $52.18 Subtotal: $313.18 Trip total: $313.18 I'd like to share this bid, because it is interesting that the amenities only shows "Free Parking", none of the others is shown when I bid, but I was pretty much sure it is Kona Coast Resort. Thanks for the link and the list in this forum!
  9. Follow-up: Sorry about forgetting to provide the results here. My trip to NYC on those days two years ago are as the following: June 20, 2011 - June 23, 2011 Holiday Inn New York City-Midtown-57th St $195 per day before tax, $702.39 in total.
  10. Hi, I've search 04/30/2013-05/02/2013 for 5* in Strip South area, which returns the following two: $108 - 90% recommended Free Parking Free Internet Suite Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower $115 - 90% recommended Resort Free Parking Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Could you please help id the above two? BTW, I also have an option for a 4* hotel in Strip North area, should I pose a new thread if I need help? Thanks!
  11. Well, this hotel has disappeared today, why? And, I want to know if I selected 3 people, will the room be sure enough to accommodate 3 people? Or still I have to negotiate with the hotel and based upon arrival?
  12. I start looking at Hotwire for NYC June18-23 for 3 people, since Priceline is risky and Jersey City does not seem cheap. Currently there is a 3.5* hotel in Midtown East with $212 per night, which has fitness, restaurant, business and Internet with 85% recommendation. Would it be Roosevelt or Doubletree or Hilton? And, is it a good deal in a good place? PS: I think I post this topic in right place? If not, please kindly move it elsewhere, as I get confused where I exactly should put it. Thanks!
  13. Excuse me? It is in different place. I am now talking about 2 rooms in NYC, not Jersey City. If you "same stay" means "same date", why not put all my posts in my thread in New York board? I've already bid a room in NYC (), but I've cancelled it and now reconsider other solutions. So, in terms of 2 rooms in NYC, I think I should make a new thread in New York board.
  14. This must be the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor. I like Sheraton, but compared to other 4* hotels, Sheraton is not so convenient - based on what I search from Google Map, Sheraton takes longer time to go to Time Square, WTC, etc. since it does not have PATH nearby.
  15. I am wondering if I bid 2 rooms in NYC, could the price for 1 room of 3.5* or 4* be less than 100? Thanks!
  16. Update. I tried 3.5* for bidding 4*, $145 does not work either. It seems like Jersey City is more expensive then NYC. Is it possible?
  17. Well. So far 4* does not work at $130. Jersey City is such an expensive area?
  18. Congrats on your success! But my dates are June 18-23. Thanks for your advice though!
  19. Hotwire shows only one 4* hotel in Hoboken - Jersey City area, which is definitely Sheraton Lincoln Harbor. So, does it mean that W Hotel, Westin, and Hyatt are fully booked?
  20. So, does it mean that I can select 3.5* so as to bid 4*, given that I do NOT select other areas with 3.5*? Jersey city is the only area that has 4*, thus I cannot bid 4* twice a day. If what you said is the case, I can use 3.5* to bid 4* in the same day.
  21. Thank you for your info. I gave a phone call and was told that it is 2 double beds. The only thing I've left is about Jersey City. I will keep updating on other threads.
