Seeing this for 9/27-9/28: 3.5* Austin (North) Amenities: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry, High-Speed This is a match for the Crowne Plaza here on our list, except that the Crowne Plaza is listed here in the (Downtown and Town Lake) area. I have been to the hotel before, and just checked their website vs. Hotwire maps. They are clearly in the Austin North area (actually almost dead center) at the intersection of I-35 and 290... Just wanted to point it out, maybe it needs to be corrected, or maybe I'm wrong... :)

Booked by fiance, although she did note the amenities for us... 2.5* North Austin Amenities listed: Pool(s), wireless internet This contradicts the listing here on betterbidding, which has this as a 2* hotel (previously 2.5*) Hope it's at least servicable for a one night stay. Tripadvisor reviews look suprisingly good over the past 3 months, and also say there was a recent renovation... Will follow-up with more info once we've been down there.

Tried $50/night to start rebid $55 Rebid $60... ACCEPTED!!! Was hoping for the Westin which is a little nicer and was $96 on Hotwire, but at this price, the Omni will definitely work for us... Omni website has same room for $149 webrate and $279 package deal... Hope this helps someone.

Nice rate at the Flamingo. Where'd you find that... Works out beautifully for the March 23-25th weekend I need to be there. Can't imagine I am going to find anything on the strip for cheaper than $100/night so I will probably just jump on that one... Thanks again, would love to know where you stumbled upon that...
