I am trying to book a car rental through priceline name your own price for an under 25 driver. I read that I can book it as an over 25, and when arriving at the desk just pay the fee for the under 25 surcharge. Is this true? Would you suggest I do this? I tried doing a NYOP for 21-24 driver but it has kept on rejecting my offers, even though they are substantial

Thanks. It is a good deal!! I have a question regarding my stay... I called and asked them for 2 double beds (since this is going to be my groomsmen and I staying in the room). The first time I called, I spoke to quite a rude later who basically said there was NO chance I could do that over the phone, have to do it on check in. However, I've called other hotels and they have done it over the phone. Is this a Sheraton policy?? Anyone know any tips of what to do in this circumstance?

On the normal priceline search 2 star is holiday inn express ($125/night), Best Western ($159/night), Hampton Inn ($118/night) and Extended Stay ($116/night). Comfortin Inn is 2.5* and $109/night. What would you suggest for starting bids?? Any suggestions? Anyone won a hotel in this region recently?

Yes they would be of interest. I didn't see them in the sticky note of hotels in this region so didn't copy them over. Any suggestions for starting prices on them? Would you just do 60% of the advertised PRICELINE price??

Looking to place a bid on 4 rooms in either the 3.5* or 2* hotels in this region for 8/12-8/14. Would appreciate any suggestions as to what kind of prices you think they'd go for. I have done a search for these but the results were all in 2009 or earlier. Well I have a companion fare with American Airlines that I can get a round trip for $230 each ticket. Current prices are $265 each. Would like to get them for about $200 a ticket. That'd be about 20% savings. Do you think if I search for Chicago-Boston on name your own price I'll find much better deals? I am prepared to drive up to Chicago if I can get a crazy good deal
