  1. My $100 bid was rejected and only had to increase by $5. Have stayed at all 4 Priceline 4-Star HHI resorts, but it has been several years ago since staying at the Sonesta. One really nice thing about HHI is that you cannot go wrong by staying at a PL 4 star hotel--they are all quite nice. Resort Fees ($110 paid at the hotel) and taxes and Price.line fees make the cost of this stay $145/night.
  2. Sorry. I stand corrected. It seems like very recently this property was 3.5 stars. I am glad there is a resort quality hotel available with Priceline. I am sorry for not paying better attention.
  3. I am not sure why there is such confusion here. The highest rated hotel in the Myrtle Beach area is 3 1/2 stars and that is at Pawley's Island. There certainly are no resort level hotels on Priceline in Myrtle Beach. This hotel happens to use the word "resort" in the name of their hotel--that is all. It certainly is not a Resort level hotel like the four resorts you could find on Priceline at Hilton Head.
  4. The two hotels most commonly received in the Lake Buena Vista zone are the Marriott World Center and the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. I have very recently stayed at the Marriott World Center for 7 nights and the Hyatt Grand Cypress for 2 nights. Both are very nice but the Hyatt is the best if you want the true resort experience. Their resort fee includes parking, pool towels, and all rental fees for canoes, kayaks, peddleboats, hydrobikes, bicycles for 1, 2 or 4, Golf clubs for the Pitch and Tee, etc. We really enjoyed the Hyatt. The Marriott World Center was great for visiting all Disney parks IF you drive yourself and pay the $14 parking fee at each of the parks. But getting to all 4 parks was very effecient from the Marriott. Happy travels.
  5. Bid $65 and rejected, probably because of the Saturday night. Raised bid to $70 and added Bluffton, a free re-bid zone and accepted. 3 Nights @70 = $210.00 Taxes and Fees $ 35.28 Total $245.28 or $82/night I stayed at this property last year and it is great. There was no discrimination for being a Priceline guest and they even upgraded me to an oceanfront room. The staff at this hotel is excellent! And by the way my bid a little over a year ago was also $70 and also on a weekend.
  6. Tried to get the Hyatt Grand Cypress but happy with the Marriott World Center for 7 nights @ $92/night 7 nights 644.00 taxes + fees 100.66 7 Nights Total = $744.66
  7. 3 Nights $150.00 Taxes and Fees $26.49 $176.29 which is just under $59/night. Parking will be additional and Internet in the room is not included. This is the lowest bid I have ever had accepted at Hilton Head. Used the PRICELINE link.
