to end this post - due to trying to get 2 rooms at same hotel we ended up going throught Sofital website and was able to use one of the promo they had and got 2 rooms for $175 a night for each room. thanks for all the help.

I know i am a little late to the show so i understand I am going to end up paying more for the location and timing. Looking for hotel 4.5 to 5 stars around Michigan Avenue. Have tried some bidding on Priceling up to $215 in zone 8 but have failed so far. Looking on Hotwire and see a few 4.5* hotels I cant seem to see all the amenities when i click on the hotel so having trouble figuring out what hotel it may be. What i see in the discription is below. Can anyone help what the hotel may be or how do i see more discription within Hotwire? Any help and advice would be greatly apprciated 4.5* Magnificent Mile North 8/15-8/17 Internet Access Pool Fitness Center Business Center and More(Says on hotwire,cant see what others there are)

Thanks Aaron, I dont think there is a particular style i am looking for as much as something that is nice and has a little luxury feel to it. I am thinking a nice view would be nice and also location to be close to the shopping on Michigan Ave. I have thought about the Allerton and possibly the Swissotel, but have heard neg reviews about the swissotel.

My desired Max budget would be up to $200 per room per night but would look at something higher if it was a great deal. We have 4 people so a room per couple. I had originally thought about 2 bedroom suite but I dont see how that would be an option through HOTWIRE or PRICELINE or even close to the budget. For a few of the people it will be their first time to chicago. the $147 I think is the Intercontinental, but I dont know if this is a good deal or not. Thank you, J
