  1. started by bidding $49 for a 2.5 * in elizabeth based on past wins. kept adding zones and a few dollars here and there until i bid $63 on the last available zone. used savingsbarn.

  3. hotwire is showing a 3* for aug. 9-13 with these amenities:fitness/pool/restaurant/business/hi-speed/laundry/golf nearby. any ideas what's in this area? thanks a lot. hotwire is also saying that it's $181.50/night retail.

  5. i bid for 1 night april 8th starting with a $51 bid for a 4* in niagara falls, on. rejected added st. catherines zone and bid $56, rejected added welland zone and bid $60, accpeted doubletree resort lodge and spa fallsview used the link from savingbarn
  6. hi, does anyone have a guess at this hotel? it's march 6-12, $54/night, 3* at the disneymaingate/champion's gate orlando and the description is: -condo/studio/children's activities/fitness/pool/restaurant/laundry/tennis thanks!!!!
  7. i won the 4* omni william penn in downtown pittsburgh, 2 rooms for dec. 28-dec. 30. i began by choosing the downtown zone at $53 and was rejected. i was offered to add $15 and rebid but i rejected that. i added zones and $1 to each bid until i finally got the above hotel. downtown is currently the only zone that has 4* hotels in pittsburgh. i used savingsbarn.com
  8. i started by bidding for 4 * hotel in downtown cleveland 11/18-11/20 @ $65. i bid in $2 increments to $71 and was rejected everytime. i then bid once on a 3* at $53 and won the Crowne Plaza City Centre. i used savingsbarn.
  9. thanks for everyone's help but i went with priceline instead. i believe i got the same hotel as described on hotwire for $45/night instead of $52. i tried every combination to add a 4* in the downtown area from $65-$75, rejected. i added the airport and lowered my price to $57, rejected. i then tried 3* and lowered my price to $40, rejected. i added south san francisco and upped my bid to $45. won the 3* holiday inn sfo intl. airport. used savingsbarn. i have recently booked quite a few hotels in california for a trip i'm taking, this is the last one. i just wanted to thank the powers that be for this site, it was an amazing help!
  10. i was originally trying for 9/16-9/20, i tried bids from $60-$75 adding areas as i went, never won anything. i tried going for just the first night, again starting around $60 and adding area until my final bid of $75 was accepted by the hilton san francisco. it offered me only 1 additional night and i took it at the same price. through the hilton website it seems the hotel is sold out the other 2 nights i wanted it. i used savingsbarn.
  11. i've searched for sept. 18-20 and have a 3* hotel listed as a best value come up. it has these features:shuttle/fitness/restaurant/business/laundry/internet-it's priced at $52. any ideas? thanks.
  12. made a bid for Sept. 21 for a 3* and 2.5* at $44, rejected. added 2 star, lowered bid to $41, accepted. La Quinta Inn Bakersfield. i should add i used savingsbarn link.
  13. my reservation is for sept. 23-26. i opened with a bid of $39 for a 3* in the disneyland area, rejected. i added anaheim hills and laguna hills because they have no 3* at $43, rejected. added seal beach, again no 3*, at $46. accepted. doubletree anaheim/orange county. good price, not happy that parking is $8/day, but i will not let it sour my victory! i used savingsbarn.
  14. bid $70 for a 3* in jersey city for 8/14-8/16. rejected. added meadowlands and upped bid to $75, accepted at the sheraton meadowlands. i used savingsbarn link.
  15. after trying for 4 stars throughout all the san diego regions at around $65 i then dropped to 3* for $65 and lost, and then won a 2.5* for $60 on sept. 22. it is the courtyard by marriot rancho bernardo. i used the savingsbarn link.
  16. i won the 4* intercontinental-Toronto Centre on Front street, not the one on bloor st. others have been winning, for $73 on July 18th 1 night. i used savingsbarn and started at $65, going up by $2 until $73 was accepted.
  17. i bought a hotel for June 29-July 1-2 rooms, 4 adults, 2 children. the hotel came up for $41/night and was a 3* with the symbols-restaurant,pool,fitness,internet,business,laundry. it turned out to be the radisson hotel and suites chelmsford.
  18. just wanted to pass on that i decided to extend my stay at the disney allstar sports instead of staying near the airport. thanks for the help.
  19. hi, i'm looking at a 2.5 star hotel for april 10-11 in the orlando airport area. it's amenities are shuttle, comp. breakfast, pool and internet. any guesses? thanks, jason i forgot to mention it came up as $65.
