  2. i had won this hotel for myself and another couple on a seperate bid earlier on a different date, but had a good idea what to expect. i began bidding in the airport zone at $46, i then added the 3 zones in baltimore that don't have 3* hotels in them and increased my bid $2 each time. i won this hotel once again for the same price i had won it before, $52. all 3 couples are pretty happy with this win.
  3. i won this hotel for a friend for the exact same price and dates the day after i had booked it for myself. i skipped the 3.5* requests this time and followed the bids that won me this hotel.
  4. i decided to add a night to the end of this reservation, it was a weeknight(more expensive) and was offered to me for $104, which i accepted.
  5. i had already won this hotel for myself at $77 and was booking for a friend. this was for 3 nights and included the more expensive weeknight. so i began bidding in this zone for $74 for a 3.5* and was rejected. there are 5 zones in d.c. without a 3.5*, and we were willing to accept a win in the white house zone. that said, we added all those zones one bid at a time, increasing the bid by $3 each time until we finally won this hotel for $92 a night. this is the 3rd couple total that we booked into this hotel, all on seperate requests, because we decided at different times we were going. so we're happy we rolled the dice and all ended up together.
  6. i previously won this hotel on priceline for myself for $77 a night for the exact same dates, but i booked it a couple of weeks ago. this time i booked for a friend. began with a $67 bid for a 3.5* in the dupont circle zone, i was offered a room if i increased my bid to $82. i said no and added a zone without a 3.5* in it and increased my bid to $69, rejected. added another zone without a 3.5*, bid $71 and won. it looks like a great hotel, we're looking forward to it.
  7. i began by using the PRICELINE link and bidding on a 3.5* in the BWI zone of Baltimore for $46 and was rejected. the only other zone that has a 3.5 star is downtown, which i would be fine winning, so i added every zone in baltimore increasing my bid by $2 each time, completely rejected. after closing the window, i once again used the PRICELINE link and this time began by bidding $52 on a 3* in the BWI zone, which i won.
  8. using the PRICELINE link i started the bidding at $70 for a 3 star in the white house zone and was rejected. i added the 3 other zones closest to the white house zone increasing my bid $2 each time, rejected. i then added mount vernon zone which has no 3* and increased the bid to $77 which was accepted. they gave me the 3.5* marriott wardman park.

  13. hello, using the PRICELINE link i started bidding on a 3* in the greentree zone of pittsburgh for 1 room aug. 1st for 1 night. i was rejected and continued to add zones that didnt have 3* hotels as well as downtown and university zones because they were also acceptable locations, and increased my bid by $2. at $50 i won the 3* radisson greentree which is the hotel i usually win here. it's a great place to stay because it is just on the otherside of the tunnels to downtown and it can usually be had for a great price on priceline.
