I have now booked the Radisson Ambassador through the PRICELINE link on this site (see details on the priceline forum for Puerto Rico) It was listed as a 3.5* and I think it may be the same one that I was offered on Hotwire. Thanks for all your help.

I used the PRICELINE link, but I wasn't logged in. Does that matter? anyway, pre-cruise 2 nights. I have been bidding for about a week using all the other free bid zones and starting around $80 and working my way up slowly $2 at a time. I checked all the websites and Hiotwire every day. I was going to stay under $100 and keep trying. I have lots of time. As usual I started to worry and decided to go to $106, but ended up at $107. I have been bidding for 3.5 because if I get a 4* or resort, that's OK, too. So here it is: Radisson Ambassador Plaza (in Condado) $107 X 2 nights = $214.00 taxes and fees $ 33.52 Total $ 247.52 Hotel's website is showing a promo rate for those dates. Stay 2 nights, save 15% for a nightly rate of $131.75 X2 = $263.50, with taxes of $52.47 and a total of $321.47. I hope there's no resort fee to be added. Yes, I am happy. Thanks for all your help.

I had a good look at the hotels available and I think the Verdanza has been upgraded to 3.5*. It was down to $113 last night, I haven't checked yet today.

This wasn't on the list, but I did some detecting and I was right this time. This looks like a new hotel. There was a 3.5* offered at the same rate, but this includes breakfast. Amenities Non-smoking complimentary breakfast Restaurant Internet

This wasn't listed so I tried to figure out which one it was, but couldn't, so I just went ahead and booked. For an overnight stay for an early flight including breakfast, I think it will be good. For April 29 - May 1, 2011, Hotwire lists a 4* Resort, Beachfront, Casino, pool, restaurant, Business Center, Laundry, Tennis nearby, spa. for $135. Is this most likely the Intercontinental? Also, for the same dates, there is a 31/2* listed at $122. Near beach, smoke free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business center, Laundry, Hi speed internet, Tennis, Children's activities. I only see hotels at this level with casinos. Thanks.
