$103/nt winning bid Started at $82 for 4*, used multiple regions 4* to bid up $89, $97, $103.

Booked on 8/20. Was using the BB list of PL hotels and it didn't list a 1* hotel, and I thought I was using the 1* as a way to negotiate slightly higher on a 2* location. A little disappointed the BB database wasn't up to date, but no big deal. Hopefully this post can help update the database to show a 1* Days Inn - Days Inn Staunton North, 273-D Bells Lane, Staunton, VA 24401

Last minute booking, booked 24 hrs ahead of time. Undercut the HOTWIRE rates for 3.5* and benchmarked bid against other successful bids on the forum. Was accepted on first try, perhaps could have gotten it for lower but unlikely much less.

Used the [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link, worked up incrementally over a few days from $80 range. PL counteroffered $156 when $127 offer was made, a couple offers later, $137 was accepted.

used bonus cash to bring it down to $46/nt.

Started with 68, and went up first counter offer at 71, then 73 to settle.

We lucked out and found a street parking spot within a block or 2 of the hotel near the homes adjacent to the hotel.

3* San Francisco (South) Radisson Hotel San Francisco Airport Bay Front, $91.
